..... NOFIQ wants to contribute to the environment by reducing the number of large fires. When a fire is extinguished with water, contaminated firefighting water will disappear into the ground. In the future availability of water will play an increasingly important role worldwide.

The NOFIQ fire system is certified based on the evaluation guideline BRL K21014 of Kiwa Certification and Inspection.....
..... Kiwa is accredited by the Dutch Council of Accreditation to certify this product complying to the EN45011.
Initially, for new innovative systems designed to protect objects there were no harmonized standards. In order to test whether these systems offer a high degree of quality and safety, consultation with experts was necessary to determine what functional and performance requirements such a system must meet.
For the NOFIQ system it was chosen to conform to the maximum with existing harmonized standards for products and to have the NOFIQ system tested according those standards by accredited testing laboratories. Matters such as EMC, R&TTE, LVD and various aspects of the CPD haven been assessed. A full description of the funactional ans performance requirtements is contained in the BRL K21014
