The NOFIQ 20 and NOFIQ 80 are the detecting and extinguishing NOFIQ components of the fire protection system .....
Products
The NOFIQ fire protection system is developed for the security of switch cabinets and/or control cupboards. Through quick detection, alarming and extinguishing of a starting fire in locked compartments with electrical components, the damage will be minimal. NOFIQ system consist of several component parts configured as either,
- Standalone with several NOFIQ 20's and/or NOFIQ 80's
- Networked with with several NOFIQ 20/80's linked to a NOFIQ Base via a series of NOFIQ Hubs.
All NOFIQ systems are "tailor-made" to suit your individual situations.
NOFIQ 20/80
NOFIQ 20/80
The NOFIQ 20 and NOFIQ 80 are the detecting and extinguishing NOFIQ components of the fire protection system .....
..... When activated NOFIQ extinguishes the fire with the built-in aerosol extinghuising agent. Each NOFIQ 20 or 80 communicates its status to the NOFIQ BASE. To be able te detect the development of an early stage fire well the NOFIQ 20 or 80 units are equipped with a carbon monoxide (CO) sensor and a temperature sensor.
Both the NOFIQ 20 and/or NOFIQ 80 can be connected together via the InterNofiqBus with several units.
- NOFIQ FE 20 with a aerosol type extinguishing agent, suitable for protecting a volume of 0,25 m3
- NOFIQ FE 80 with a aerosol type extinguishing agent, suitable for protecting a volume of 0,8 m3

NOFIQ BASE
NOFIQ BASE
The NOFIQ BASE is the central alarm management and focus of all NOFIQ components in a NOFIQ network .....
..... The NOFIQ BASE registers and communicates all the alarms and faults that are reported by the NOFIQ 20/80 and the NOFIQ HUBs.
The NOFIQ BASE does not contain radio equipment. To receive all wireless communications from the FE's and HUBs the BASE is connected to the NOFIQ BASEHUB, which acts as a transmitter/receiver for the NOFIQ BASE.
Every five minutes the NOFIQ BASE receives a check, the socalled "heartbeat", from all connected HUBs and FEs in the network. When a NOFIQ component doest not respond the system will record it and report it as a failure.

NOFIQ BASEHUB
NOFIQ BASEHUB
Each NOFIQ system has a NOFIQ BASEHUB. The NOFIQ BASE-HUB functions as a transmitter/receiver for the NOFIQ BASE.....
..... The NOFIQ BASEHUB ensures that all messages from the FEs and HUBs are received by the NOFIQ BASE.
The casing of the NOFIQ BASEHUB is identical to the NOFIQ HUB, it only has another inscription. Other differences between the BASEHUB and HUB are:
- The NOFIQ BASE-HUB does not contain batteries, but uses the power of the NOFIQ BASE instead.
- The NOFIQ BASE-HUB communicates with the NOFIQ BASE by means of serial communication; they are interconnected with a cable retention feature (fire resistant cable).
- The NOFIQ BASE-HUB has no buzzer.

NOFIQ HUB
NOFIQ HUB
The NOFIQ HUB is a signal amplifier. It provides the radio link between a NOFIQ20/80 and NOFIQ BASE, over long distances.....
..... All components in the network automatically pick the best wireless route to the NOFIQ BASE, which is based on calculations of the quality of the connection.
In a NOFIQ network at least two NOFIQ HUBs are necessary, even if only one NOFIQ 20/80 is installed. The presence of at least two HUBs makes a "primary" and "secondary" route available for communcation between the NOFIQ 20/80 and the BASE.
Depending on the distance between the BASE and the secured objects more NOFIQ HUBs must be installed to prevent that one or more NOFIQ 20/80 fall out of radio range with the BASE.
